Lena Graves

Lena Mae (Hughes) Graves was born in Porum on Sept. 24, 1931, to Walter and Padie (Chambers) Hughes. She passed away on July 29, 2019, in Porum at the age of 87.

She is survived by two daughters, Regina Kash and husband, Terry, of Porum and Linda Graves of Hot Springs, Ark.; her son-in-law, Wayne Julian of Pittsburg, Kan.; grandchildren, Jeremy Kash and wife, Amanda, of Catoosa, Robert Kash of Porum, Dennis Julian and wife, Laura, of Pittsburg, Kan., Kristie Hutchinson and husband, Brian of Bixby and Tracy Howard and husband, Zach, of Pittsburg, Kan.; great-grandchildren, Roland Kash, Brittnee Julian, Bailey Julian, Cory Julian, Callie Hutchinson, Nolan Hutchinson, Lewis Hutchinson, Jonathan Howard and Zoey Howard; two brothers, Charles L. Hughes of Oktaha and Billy Joe Hughes of Hulbert and one sister, Hazel Breshears of Muskogee.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Graves; her parents, Walter and Padie Hughes; her daughter, Glenda Julian; her sisters, Wilma Howard and Oma Maxine Bolding and her brothers, Frank Hughes, Lonnie Hughes and Bennie Hughes.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at First Assembly of God Church in Porum with the Rev. Kenneth Clay officiating. Interment will follow at Fields Cemetery in Porum under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31 and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1 at Mallory Chapel in Porum.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Kash, Robert Kash, Dennis Julian, Brian Hutchinson, Zach Howard and Terry Kash.
