Larry Perry

Larry B. Perry, 65, of Talihina, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at his home. He was born July 1, 1953, in Talihina to Owen and Lenore (Davis) Perry. 

Larry grew up in Keota, where he graduated from Keota High School. When he was younger he played on a baseball team called “Bryant Giants,” where he acquired the nick name “BG.” Larry served his country in the Navy for four years as a dental technician. Later, he drove a tractor/trailer rig. Later, he was a limousine driver. He was a big fan of the OU football team and loved watching them play.

Larry is survived by two brothers, Neal Perry and Junior Lynn Davis of Keota; five sisters, Shirley Honeycutt of Keota, Debra Brown of Stigler, Diana Davis of Howe, Rita Ward of Heavener, and Debbie Hatfield and husband, Carl, of Stigler and a brother-in-law, Earl Hargis of Spiro.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Lenora Perry and a sister, Margaret Hargis.

Graveside services were held at 12 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2019, at Stigler Cemetery with the Rev. James Easley officiating.

Burial followed immediately under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home.
