Kenneth Wilson

Kenneth Ray Wilson, 77, of Moore passed away Thursday, April 6, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born at Beaver Mountain Dec. 29, 1939 to Bill and Angie (Smith) Wilson. He grew up at Beaver Mountain and attended Stigler schools.
He married Ruth Bland on June 21, 1959 and they made their home in Quinton for a few years before moving to Moore where they settled and raised their family.
Kenneth began a career in sales that began with Sears & Roebuck and ended with insurance sales until his eyesight made him stop working. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and running around with his children and traveling with his family. Ken was a member of the Crossroads Cathedral Church in Oklahoma City. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Ruth Wilson of the home; his two sons, Randy Wilson and wife, Linda of Russellville and Kevin Wilson and wife Kim of Russellville; his daughter, Diane Crase and husband Eddie of Moore; eight grandchildren, Amanda Beuchaw and husband Jeff, Jacob Crase, Jennifer Boyle and husband Lee, Rachell Franklin and husband Brent, Nicky Lewis and husband Zac, Jeff Isenhower, Patricia Sarton and husband Rob, and Isaiah Wilson; 14 great-grandchildren, Bennet, Brad, Brooks, Lynnsey, Chloe, Lane, Ashlynn, Kaylie, Ace, Joshua, Jordan, Micah, Jessica and Gabe; two brothers, Albert Wilson and wife Darlene of Manford, and Wesley Wilson and wife Robbie of Pharoah; and a sister, Billie Armstrong of Skeedee.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Angie Wilson; and brothers and sisters.
Services were held April 10 at Faith Community Church with the Revs. Bill and Mary Fitzer officiating.
Burial followed at Quinton Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
Pallbearers were Jacob Crase, Brad Davis, Lane Quinton, Isaiah Wilson, Jeff Isenhower and Jeff Beuchaw.
