Kenneth Harmon

Kenneth Ralph Harmon of Stigler was born in Porum on Feb. 12, 1929, to Benjamin Franklin and Margaret Ellen (Johnson) Harmon. He passed away in Stigler on March 2, 2019, at the age of 90.

He is survived by one son, Kenneth Wayne Harmon of Stigler; one daughter, Vicki Jane (Harmon) Lavender and husband, John, of Keota; five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Ellen Harmon; eight siblings; mother of his children, Bettye Marie Scantlen Carroll and one son, Bruce Harmon (twin of Vicki Jane).

Kenneth was the youngest of nine children. He graduated from Porum High School and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Kenneth retired from the United States Postal Service.

He loved life to the fullest and being with his family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Loyd Munn Family Center from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019.
