Juliana Ellis

Juliana (Judy) Katherine Ellis was born on Sept. 27, 1925, to William Luetkemeyer and Katherine Gruber in Okeene. Judy loved spending time with her family, they were her pride and joy. She loved flowers and was an avid gardener. She truly had a green thumb. Judy was also a rancher, she worked the farm with her family and really enjoyed it. Judy went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 3, 2018.

Judy is survived by her sister, Roseleen Iverson; sons, John Richard Ellis and wife, Nilas, of Bengal,  Ronald Ellis and wife, Charlotte, of Bengal; daughters, Phyllis Brandt and husband, Carl, of Keota,   Sandra Ellis of the home in Bengal; eight grandchildren, Michael Bagwell, Tamara Pierce, Johnny Ellis, Jerry Ellis, Bud Ellis, Julie Copeland, Carl Wayne Brandt and Albert Brandt; 22 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine (Gruber) Luetkemeyer; father, William Luetkemeyer; husband, Molten (Bud) Ellis; sisters, Edna Huhman, Rita Ritz, Alma Johannesmeyer, Bernice Daffron; brothers, Alfred Luetkemeyer, Lawrence Luetkemeyer, Harry Luetkemeyer; grandson, Billy Ray Bagwell.

Services were held at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Talihina with Father Khiet Nguyen officiating.
