Judith Coble

Judith Marie Coble, 77, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, in Tulsa. She was born Jan. 23, 1939, to T.Y. and Bertha (Tracey) Floyd in Phoenix.
She moved with her family to Stigler in 1949 where she received her education from Stigler High School. She married James Coble on Aug. 22, 1956, and began raising a family of three sons. She later earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She began her nursing career at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Muskogee and worked until her retirement in 2001. She will be remembered for enjoying her family most of all. She loved her children and adored her grandchildren. She loved cooking for family gatherings as well as traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 60-plus years, James Coble; two sons, Steve Coble and wife Jennifer of Broken Arrow; Bryan Coble of Stigler; three grandchildren, Rachael Fisk and husband Kevin, Stephen Coble and Bryanna Coble; two great-grandchildren, Kameron and Kylie Fisk; two sisters, Gale Fry and Dorothy Floyd, both of Tulsa.
She is preceded in death by her parents, T.Y. and Bertha Floyd; her son, Gregory Coble; four brothers, Jimmy, Tommy, Paul and Dale Floyd; one sister, Laverne Harvey.
Funeral services were held Nov. 8 at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommie Parker and the Rev. Robert Maxwell officiating. Burial followed at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
Pallbearers were Eugene Harvey, Hank Harvey, John Dock, Russell Flick, Kenny Kirkland and Brody Scott.
