Judith Rae (Burleson) Choate of Longtown was born May 23, 1942, in Rapid City, S.D., to Newell and Lois (Burleson) Busby. She passed away on June 30, 2018, in Longtown at the age of 76.
She is survived by her husband, Herman Dean Choate, of the home; three daughters, Barbara Berryhill of Tuttle, Joyce Cook of Checotah, Loretta Choate of Harker Heights, Texas; three sons, Travis Choate and wife, Sandra, of Houston, Texas, Marty Choate of Coppers Cove, Texas, Stephen Choate of Longtown; grandchildren, Brad Berryhill and wife, Kaylee, Julie Berryhill, Jennifer Casey and husband, Robert, Jessica Walker and husband, Jon, Jackie Frame and husband, Trey, Nick Cook, Jeff Choate, Anna Lagos and husband, Manuel, Joshua Choate and wife, Marissa, Cera Farr, Megan Farr, Conner Choate, Payton Choate, Logan Choate; 14 great-grandchildren.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Newell and Lois Burleson; brothers, William Burleson and Kenneth Burleson and her son, Robert R. Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Longtown with Pastor Bill Rae officiating. Committal service will follow at 1 p.m. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson.
Viewing was Monday from 1 to 8 p.m., Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler.
Pallbearers will be Marty Choate, Travis Choate, Tommy Russell, Jeff Choate, Robert Casey, Gary Graver, Davylene Graver and Casey Choate.
