Joyce Honeycutt

Joyce A. (Shepherd) Honeycutt of Keota was born in Keota to Cleburn and Ivory (Rose) Honeycutt, on Oct. 1, 1948. She passed away in Muskogee on Feb. 28, 2019, at the age of 70.

She is survived by two daughters, Ann Shepherd of Eufaula and Karen (Anderson) Peck of Stafford, Va.; grandchildren, Megan Sosa and husband, Jorge, of Stigler; Kassandra Burch of Broken Arrow and Riley Peck, Rachel Peck and Donovan Peck, all of Stafford, Va.; great-grandchildren, Alivia Hall, Halee Hall and Jaylee Sosa and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobbie Shepherd, Buster Shepherd and Jodie Shepherd; sisters, Ruth Telo Shepherd and Illetreen Shepherd and one granddaughter, Rebekah Peck.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Lone Elm Freewill Baptist Church in Keota.
