Joseph Cahill

Joseph Aaron Cahill was born in Vinita, Oklahoma on March 29, 1986, to Joseph Cahill and Barbara Roe. He passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 8, 2021 at the age of 35.

He is survived by his wife, Shaina, of the home; his children, Kailey Cahill, Hunter Cahill, River Cahill, Ayven Cahill, Landyn Petty, and Ryder Smith; his mother, Barbara Roe of Fort Smith, AR; his siblings, David Palmer and wife, Heather, of Sallisaw, OK, Jerod Palmer of Des Moines, IA, Gerald Horton of Fort Smith, AR, Noah Horton of Barling, AR, Angela Cahill of Monette, MO, Jennifer Cahill of Monette, MO, Heather Cahill of Monette, MO; his maternal grandmother, Nellie Porter of McCurtain, OK.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Cahill; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Fannie Cahill; his maternal grandfather, Donald Porter.

JoJo enjoyed riding his Razer, spending time with family, and was a hard worker. He was loved and will be missed by many. He was a member of Sallisaw Masonic Lodge #120.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. at Freewill Baptist Church in McCurtain on Monday, October 11, 2021 with Rev. Phil Turnipseed and Rev. Jacob Oliver officiating. Interment followed at Miner’s Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers were Gerald Horton, David Palmer,  Casey Green, Noah Horton, Jacob Oliver, Jerod Palmer and Brent Cox.
