Johnny Wade

Johnny Wade of Stigler was born April 9, 1946, in Stigler to Shasta Marie Wade and passed away Nov. 28, 2018, in Stigler at the age of 72.

Johnny is survived by one daughter, Brandie Goodman and husband, Aaron, of Stigler; two grandchildren, Isaac and Emma Goodman, both of Stigler; mother of his child, Glenda Wade of Stigler; companion, Kelly Mitchell of Stigler and her children, Keshia, Ty and Eli; close cousin, Bill Wade and wife, Laural, of Eufaula and numerous friends and golf course family

Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, Shy Oliver; special aunt, Bea Wade; aunts, Mildred Wade, Agnes Basta, Wilma Wade, Mable Wade and Betty Wade; uncles, Andy Wade, Jess Wade, Bud Wade, Delmus Wade and Hubert Wade.

Johnny loved hunting, golfing, fishing, NASCAR and sports.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Mallory Chapel with the Rev. Bill and Mary Fitzer and the Rev. Rick and Kathy Goodman officiating. Burial followed at Stigler City Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory in Stigler.

Pallbearers were Dyrl Miller, Don Webster, Matt Webster, John Jones, Hughie Gragg, Stuart Underwood and Ed Shepherd.

Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Denny, Royce (Burr) Denny, Max Thompson and his golf course family.

Viewing was held Thursday from 1 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
