Johnny Fitzer

Johnny Lee Fitzer of Stigler was born on March 31, 1948, in Stigler to Tobe and Anna (Trollinger) Fitzer. He passed away on March 6, 2018, at the age of 69.
John graduated from Stigler High School in 1966. After graduation, he served in the Army. He spent his career in the construction business. John’s hobbies were fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his son, Daniel Lee Fitzer of Stigler; his sisters, Juanita and Bill Townley of Caldwell, Idaho, Ramona Mitchell of Stigler, Virginia and Gary Spears of Whitefield; his brothers, Joe and Mae Fitzer of Okay, Bill Fitzer and Gayla Howard of Stigler.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Tobe and Anna Fitzer; three sisters, Ruth Wren, Mary Neal, Naoma Cox; three brothers, Sam Fitzer, James Fitzer and an infant brother.
In lieu of burial, John requested his body be donated to the OU Health Sciences Center Willed Body Program for medical science research.
