John Storment

John Storment of Eufaula was born Jan. 29, 1956, in Stigler to Clifford Dee and Doris Katherine (Williams) Storment and passed away Jan. 1, 2017, in Eufaula at the age of 60.
He is survived by his parents, Clifford and Doris Storment; one daughter, Caryn Caruso of New Jersey; one sister, Teresa Storment of Joshua, Texas; one brother, David Storment and wife, Lynn of Cleburne, Texas; two nephews, Michael Storment of Joshua, Texas, Andrew “Andy” Storment of Ft. Worth, Texas; one niece, Terri Schubert and husband, Bryan of Peyton, Colo., great nieces and nephews, Callie, Cannan and Carlie.
John was a retired police officer. He served on Ft. Worth and Nashville police departments. He was also a Shriner and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Jan.  9 at Mallory Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Storment and the Rev. Delmon Eakle officiating.
Burial will follow at Garland Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
Pallbearers will be family and Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church members.
Viewing will be held Sunday, 1 - 5 p.m. with family visitation from 2 - 4 p.m.
