John Beal Sr. 87, of Whitefield passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home. He was born Jan. 17, 1933 in Broken Arrow, to Lawrence and Bertha (Key) Beal. He grew up at Locust Grove. John was a hard working man. He began a career as an electrician. He became a real estate developer. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and was a great dancer.

John is survived by his two sons, John Beal Jr. and Mike Beal of Whitefield; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherita and Todd Roberts of Tulsa; a sister, Mildred Basham of Van Buren, Ark.; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Delores Beal of Whitefield; nine grandchildren and spouses, Christy and Patrick Stanfield, Amanda and Jerrod Terrell, Katie and Matt Simpson, Amy and Brandon Amos, April and Cale Dunn, Lori Beal, Blake Beal, Jarod Roberts and Jeremy Roberts; 17 great grandchildren, Andrew, Tryston, Madelyn, Jaxon, Amilya, Emma, Chaseton, Averie, Gage, Livia, Duke, Jett, Caleb, Harley, Brett, Kynlee and Judson.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Bertha Beal; a son, Rick Beal; a daughter-in-law, Dreama Beal; and a sister, Ruby Whitson.

Graveside services were held at 10: 00 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in Whitefield Cemetery with the Rev. Tommie Parker officiating. Pallbearers included; Andrew Stanfield, Brandon Amos, Cale Dunn, Jerrod Terrell, Blake Beal, Matt Simpson and Patrick Stanfield.

Burial followed immediately under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
