Jimmy D. Harrell was born on June 26, 1947, in Perry Community, Okla. to John Davis “Dock” Harrell and Iva Faye (Bibee) Harrell. He passed away on March 7, 2021, in Fort Smith, Ark. at the age of 73.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Harrell, of the home; his sister, Peggy Rowland and husband, Gary, of Stigler, Okla.; his brothers-in-law, Eddie Joe Ary and wife, Phyllis, of Stigler, Okla. and Terry Ary and wife, Debbi, of Afton, Okla.; his nieces, Jessica Ary and Lydia Grider; his nephews, Ryan Ary, Royce Ary and wife, Ramona, Kyle Ary and wife, Erica, Lucas Ary and baby Aiden; his aunts and uncles, Joe and Vickie Bibee, Bobby and Sharon Bibee, Norma Bibee and Sybil Sanders.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Dock and Iva Harrell.

Jimmy married his good friend, Judy Ary, on July 31, 1970. He spent the last 40 years ranching for Dr. Thomas and Flo Conklin.

Viewing was held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 8 and from 9 a m  to noon pm on Tuesday, March 9.

Graveside services were held at Garland Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, with Bro. Tommie Parker officiating. Interment was under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers were Larry Bibee, Jimmy Echelle, Kenneth McCauley, Jerry Ogden, Justin Price and Pete Ross.

Honorary pallbearers were Dale Barnes, Rick Bryce, Rhett Bibee, Kevin Fenton, Glenn Kates, James Frank Sloan, Cotton Snow, Joe Swink, Wayne Warren, Bob Mahan, Joe Benham, Dr. Thomas Conklin and David Owen.
