Jesse Dix

Jesse Scott Dix was born in Stigler on Dec. 25, 1981, to Tony and Vickie (Stout) Dix. He passed away in Keota on April 19, 2019, at the age of 37.

He is survived by his mother, Vickie Dix of Keota; his father, Tony Dix of Jenks; two brothers, Jerry Dix of Keota and Jamey Dix of Preston; five aunts, June Crawford of Coweta, Sandra Graham of Keota, Deborah Short and husband, Jerry, of Magazine, Ark., Linda Wilson and husband, Bill, of Moore and Darlene Oldham of Moore; one uncle, Robert Stout and wife, Irena, of Tulsa and numerous cousins and friends.

Jesse was preceded in death by one brother, Tony Carl Dix, Jr.; his grandparents, Francis and Oma Stout and Carl and Maudie Dix; four uncles and one aunt.

Jesse attended Cross Church, loved his family, friends and his Lord. He enjoyed reading the Bible and sharing the Word with others. He loved to take care of his dogs, sports and listening to music.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with the Rev. Heath Cole and the Rev. Brandon Mooneyham officiating.

Pallbearers were Robert Palmer, Darryl Maxey, Justin Long, Josh Long, Jason Long, Mike Coble and the 1999 Talihina Golden Tigers Football Seniors.
