Jerry Ross

Jerry Lee Ross was born to Frank and Beulah Ross on April 12, 1951, in Stigler. He passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, in Muskogee at the age of 66.
Jerry graduated from Kinta High School in 1969, attended Eastern State College in Wilburton, served in the Army and worked in the residential cable TV industries in Houston, Texas and rural Southeastern Oklahoma and commercial plumbing in Dallas, Texas.
Jerry loved the Lord Jesus Christ, his family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his mother; one son, Andy Ross of Hot Spring, Ark.; two daughters, Addie Ross Yates and husband Kevin of New Bern, N.C., and Amy Ross Robertson of Hot Springs, Ark.; sisters, Joyce Mathews and husband Rany of Kinta, Elizabeth Ross of Arvada, Colo., and Dr. Alice Smith and husband Joe Paul of Poteau; nephews, Albert Shelton, Jr. and wife Pat of Poteau and Dr. Ross Osborn and wife Louise of St. Augustine, Fla.; nieces, Angela Carbrey and husband David, and Audrey Fassio and husband Chris of Poteau, and Amber Jones and husband Chris of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; special friends, Bryan and Hanna Channon; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins  and friends.
He was preceded in death by his dad; his wife, Mary; two brothers-in-law, Dr. Larry Osborn and Albert Shelton Sr.; and one nephew, Brandon Osborn.
Graveside services were held April 22 at Antioch Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Bob Kirk officiating. VFW Post 4446, Stigler, conducted military rites.
Pallbearers were Andy Ross, Bryan Channon, Eddie Haney, George Ross, Henry Ross and Bennie Cox.  
Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
