Jane Overstreet

Jane Ridgway Overstreet was born Oct. 16, 1953, to C.A. and Margaret Ann Overstreet and passed away March 14, 2017.
She attended Keota Schools and was a graduate of Northeastern State University where she played women’s varsity basketball. She coached girls basketball and tennis in Dennison and Memphis, Texas. After moving to Oklahoma City, she worked at Equifax and taught gymnastics, then returned to Keota and worked as office manager at Keota Mill and Elevator and Livestock Nutrition Center. In recent years she co-managed the family ranch near Keota. Jane loved fishing, hunting and camping. As an avid Oklahoma State fan, she rarely missed watching an OSU Cowboys or Cowgirls game.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her brothers, John Overstreet of Carrollton, Texas, and Jim Overstreet of Keota; and her sister, Ann Edwards and husband Dan of Oklahoma City; two nieces; three grand nieces;  and one grand nephew.
Memorial graveside services were held March 18 at Short Mountain Cemetery.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
