James Stout

James Harold Stout passed away at the age of 75, at his home in Stigler on Oct. 13, 2016.
James lived at McCurtain Club Lake and was a caretaker. After 15 years there, he married Doris Allen.
James was voted in to preach at the McCurtain Full Gospel Tabernacle in 1985, where he preached until his illness became worse, then James and Doris moved to Stigler.
James was born to James Harvey and Alta Dell Summers Stout on Sept. 13, 1941, in Lequire.
James is survived by his wife, Doris, of the home; one brother, Kenny Stout and wife, Pam, of McCurtain; one sister, Bonnie Bernice of Norman; one sister-in-law, Jackie Stout of McCurtain; and several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James Harvey and Alta Dell (Summers) Stout; five brothers, Frank, Tom, George, Earl and Curtis Stout; three sisters, Margie Oliver, Eula Jean Terrell and Evelyn Stiles; two sisters-in-law, Carol Stout and Wanda Stout; three brothers-in-law, Shorty Oliver, Edmond Terrell and Eddie Stiles; nieces, Carol Hall, Ashley Stout, Linda Oliver, Marla Stout and Sharon Stiles, and nephews, Bobby Oliver, Danny Stout and Brent Thomas Stout.
Pallbearers were Gary Stout, Johnny Stout, Darrell Stout, Jeff Oldham, Dustin Oldham and Duane Oliver.
Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Trickett, Terry Hollie, Daniel Coscastillo and Larry Stiles.
Services were held Oct. 17 at the Antioch Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Larry Kerns officiating. Burial followed at Miners Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
