James Sheives

James Sheives, 79, of Stigler, passed away Sunday morning, March 5, 2017, at his home in Rocky Ridge. He was born Aug. 2, 1937, in McAllen, Texas to Marvin and Jimmie Louisie (Roach) Sheives.
James grew up in San Benito, Texas and was a member of the class of 1955 where he made wonderful friends that have lasted a lifetime. He always looked forward to going to his high school reunions and spending time with his classmates. She brought him a lot of joy and comfort during his long illness.
Jim met his wife, Diane Bryce in Spiro. They became the best of friends and soon discovered that their friendship included a love that would tie them together. Jim and Diane married April 3, 1993, and would have celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary next month.
