Jackie Massey

Jackie Massey was born in Keota on Nov. 6, 1944, to Dan and Sally (Buckner) Johnson. She passed away in Stigler on June 16, 2019, at the age of 74.

She is survived by her companion, Calvin Carry of the home; one son, Scott Carry and wife, Kelly, of Keota; three daughters; Mary Reitzel and husband, Richard, of Poteau, Kelly Ulrich and husband, Dale, of Spiro and Stacie Moffat of Tulsa; two brothers, Ray Johnson and wife, Tammie, of Keota and Danny Johnson and wife, Sharon, of Keota; two sisters, Joyce Carry and husband, Squeaky, of Stigler and Betty White of Stigler; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jackie was preceded in death by her daughter, Laraine Carry; her parents, Dan and Sally Johnson, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Unity Baptist Church in Keota with Rev. Charles Carry and Rev. Larry Harris officiating. Interment followed at Keota City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Viewing was from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Mallory Chapel in Keota.

Pallbearers were Titus Carry, Tyler Reitzel, Tate Reitzel,  Ryan Patillo, Landen Patillo and Corbin Chadwick

Honorary pallbearers were  Dale Ulrich, Richard Reitzel,  Rusty Woolbright, J. Owens, Squeaky Carry and David Carey.
