Jack Bibee

Jack Waldron Bibee of Stigler was born Dec. 21, 1926, in Stigler to Gideon and Stella (Livesay) Bibee. He passed away on April 21, 2018, in Claremore at the age of 91.
He is survived by one son, Larry Bibee and wife, Arlene, of Stigler; three grandsons, Rodney Bibee of Stigler, Rhett Bibee of Stigler and Ross Bibee and wife, Ginger, of Stigler; four great-grandchildren, Claire Bibee of Stigler, Corie Bibee of Stigler, Rylan Bibee of Stigler and Kailey Bibee of Stigler; three brothers, Fred Bibee and wife, Norma, of Hoyt, Joe Bibee and wife, Vicky, of Bakersfield, Calif. and Bob Bibee and wife, Sharon, of Stigler; and one sister, Sybil Sanders of Alma, Ark.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldyne Bibee; two brothers, John Bibee and Hubert Bibee; four sisters, Edith Rutherford, Ival Harrell, Mary Ann “Dolly” Wren, Betty Moore; and his parents.
He served in the Army as Private First Class 46 Engineer Construction Battalion during World War II. He loved gardening and cattle ranching and he worked as a manager at Shelton’s Supermarket for 20 years. He also worked at Dobyns & Lantz. He was a self-employed carpenter for 15 years. He loved his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Garland Cemetery in Stigler with the Revs. Rick and Angela Stevens officiating.
Viewing was held at 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Stigler.
Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #4446
Services were entrusted to Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
