Jack ‘Poppa’ Nelson

Jack “Poppa” Nelson was born in Tuskahoma, Okla. on Aug. 13, 1936, to Monroe and Eula Mae (Cornell) Nelson. He passed away in Oklahoma City, Okla. on Dec. 15, 2020, at the age of 84.
Poppa is survived by his wife, Madge Nelson of 59 years, of the home; three daughters, Kathy Ann, Karen Renee and Kristy May; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Poppa was preceded in death by one son, Roger Dale; two brothers, Roy and Coleman; and his parents, Monroe and Eula Mae.
Graveside service was held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, at Enterprise Cemetery. Interment under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
