Ina Jackson, 91, passed away Jan. 18, 2020. Ina was born in Keota, on April 28, 1928.

She is survived by her daughters, Lorene Lewis of Stigler and Mary Davis and spouse, Larry, of Tulsa; her grandchildren, Douglas Kirkland and wife, Julia, of Stigler, Michele Storment and spouse, Jimmy Jr., of Stigler, Brian Kirkland of Stigler, Cindy Hadley and spouse, Cameron, of Broken Arrow; Melissa Kilpatrick and spouse, Todd, of Jennings; 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Ina was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Perry, and stepfather, Henry Perry; her sister, Evelyn Starkey; and her brothers, Elmer Perry and Jack Jackson.

Ina attended Sequoyah Indian School in Tahlequah. She worked as a nurse’s aide at the Stigler Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Keota.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with the Rev. Rodney Harris and Bill Johnnie officiating. Interment followed at Keota City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers were Kyle Jackson, Kevin Jackson, Paul Wiedemann, Mark Wiedemann, Lindsey Perry and Cameron Hadley.

Honorary pallbearers were Todd Kilpatrick and Michael Perry.
