Harmon Hunt

Harmon “Tab” Hunt was born on November 17, 1944 in McCurtain, Oklahoma to Virgil and Beulah (Bush) Hunt. He passed away in Fort Smith, Arkansas on October 5, 2021 at the age of 76.

Tab was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Beulah Hunt, his uncles and aunt, Jim Hunt and Alice Hunt, and Delmar Hunt.

Tab graduated from McCurtain High School. He served in the U.S. Army for 26 years active and reserve. He served during Vietnam (2 tours) and earned several medals, including a Purple Heart.

He worked for many years for the USPS until retirement in 1996.

Funeral Services will be held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 7, 2021 with Rev. Howard Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Old Panther Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
