Hardy Erwin

Hardy T. Erwin, 72, of Sallisaw was born on April 24, 1947, in Navasota, Texas to Milyda Lorene (Hodges) Erwin and Henry Jasper Erwin and passed away on Aug. 29, 2019, in Muskogee. He married Eloise (Jeske) Erwin on March 22, 1976, in Ardmore. He was an electrical power lineman and of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors are wife, Eloise of the home; three daughters, Lisa Powers of Brenham, Texas, Marcie Alexander and Bubba of Stigler and Melanie Edgmon II and Craig of Sallisaw; one son, Tom Erwin and fiancé, Annette Creedon, of Longtown; six grandchildren, Maylee, Dawson and Blake Powers, Mason Smith, Marlee Alexander and Sody Edgmon; two great-grandchildren, Preston and Lucy Smith; one sister, Ruth Roberts of Texas; four brothers, Roy Erwin, Troy Erwin, Roland Erwin and Roger Erwin, all of Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Floyd and Paul Erwin; five sisters, Adell Dirikson, Rosa Road, Sue Shelton, Doretha Erwin and little sister, Erwin.

Viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Cremation and private family celebration of life will follow at a later date.
