Glennis Brown

Glennis Rae (Ford) Brown of Kinta was born in Quinton on June 13, 1940, to Lusios and Ruth (Mathis) Ford. She passed away on Feb. 1, 2019, in Kinta at the age of 78.

She is survived by her husband, Luther Brown of the home; one daughter, Mary Medina of Quinton; one son, James Brown of Kinta; three grandchildren, Vanessa Brown of Tulsa, Jason Brown of Tulsa and Tina Tucker of Quinton; six great-grandchildren, Tristin Johnson of Okemah, Joshua (Bubba) Johnson of Enterprise, Mason Adcock of Oklahoma City, Taylor Adcock of Oklahoma City, Lenora Hubbard of Kinta and Evan Hubbard of Kinta; one great-great-granddaughter, MayLee Shepherd of Okemah and several brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lusios Ford; mother, Ruth Ford; her stepmother, Levet Ford; her son Randy Brown; two brothers, Jerri Ford and Terri Ford and one granddaughter, Jenny Tucker.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at Fish Creek Church in Kinta with James L. Brown and James R. Brown officiating. Burial followed at Sans Bois Cemetery in Kinta under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory in Stigler, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers were Jack Tucker, Jimmy Tucker, Jim Coxey, Glenn Speer, Jim Wimberly, Eddie Mathis, Joshua (Bubba) Johnson, Reese Rowe and Mason Adcock.
