George Raimer

George Willie Raimer, 81, of Estacada, Ore., died in Clackamas, Ore., on Jan. 3, 2018.
Raimer was born Aug. 13, 1936, in Briartown to Charles Monroe Raimer and Nellie Jane Williams.
George served in the Navy as a young man. He later became a business owner after learning the skill of heat treating where he provided his community with excellent service for 30 years.
Raimer is survived by his children Joline Raimer, Vicki Grassman, Daniel Raimer, Jennifer Jones and Andy Raimer of Oregon; siblings Doris Wiley of Tulsa, Neva and David Haney of Blackwell and Frieda and James Denton of Owasso; and eight grandchildren.
Raimer was preceded in death by wife Barbara A. Raimer, sisters Edith B. Farrar, Gladys B. Tranthum Randel and Elwanda M. Mount, and brothers Hubert M., Charles H. and Chester L. Raimer.
The funeral service will be Jan. 11 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Scott Funeral Home in Portland, Ore. The memorial service at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland led by Pastor Ron Keeling will follow at 12:30 p.m.
