Gary Hays

Gary Lynn Hays of Stigler was born Jan. 27, 1958, in Stigler to William Earl and Bertha Faye (Beeler) Hays and passed away Dec. 7, 2016, in Fort Smith, Ark., at the age of 58.
He is survived by two daughters, Lacey (Nixon) Holt and husband, Matthew of McCurtain, Addie Hays of Warner; two sons, Drew Hays of Seminole and Cody Hays of Seminole; three sisters, Sue Worsham and husband, Ed of Stigler, Barbara Nunn of McCurtain, Kathy Raley and husband, Del of Stigler; four brothers, Jerry Hays and wife, Linda of Tamaha, Kenny Hays and wife, Joan Stigler, Cliff Hays and wife, Sharon of Stigler, Larry Hays and wife, Dena of Stigler; four grandchildren, Landyn Hays, Caleb, Chaseton, Carson and (one on the way) Holt; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by two brothers, Estel and Lonnie Ray Hays; one sister, Helen Hays;  and his parents.
Funeral Services  were held Dec. 12 at Mallory Chapel with the Rev. Heath Cole officiating. Burial followed at Garland Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory.
Pallbearers were Mervin Wallis, Hardy Labor Jr., Terry Nunn, Billy Hays, Greg Hays and Gavin Hays.
Honorary pallbearer was Larry Workman.
