Garland Weese

Garland David Weese, 92, of Okmulgee, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Okmulgee.
He was born Sept. 22, 1924, to Calvin Joe Weese and Beulah Lee (Penson) Weese in Dyer, Ark.
Weese was a veteran of the Army and worked as laborer and maintenance at a glass plant. In June 2006, he married Wanda Beverage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and first wife, Delcie in 2005.
Survivors include wife, Wanda of the home in Okmulgee; son, David Weese of Beggs; two step-daughters, Sherri Rutledge Layman and husband James of Hanna, and Debra Rutledge Upton and husband Bill of Sapulpa; brother, Harold Weese of Tahlequah; brother-in-law, Wayne Beverage of Ketchum; granddaughter, Connie Smith; grandson, David Weese, Jr.; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held March 14 at Okmulgee Cemetery.
