Fred Riddle

Fred G. Riddle of Stigler was born Sept. 16, 1944, in McCurtain to Marion and Cecil (Brown) Riddle. He passed away on April 24, 2018, in Muskogee at the age of 73.
He is survived by his wife, Joetta Riddle, of the home; sons, Darren Riddle and wife, Traci, of Muskogee and Dustin Riddle and wife, Krystal, of Ada; grandchildren, Danielle, Destiny and Drew Riddle of Muskogee and Easton Riddle of Ada; sister, Lucy Jean Bush of McCurtain and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Cecil Riddle; two brothers, Leon Riddle and Roy Riddle; and one sister, Sue Pepper.
He was an Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from ODOT after 24 years and was a Freewill Baptist minister for 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, attending church, fishing and going to his grandchildren’s ballgames.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with the Rev. Darren Riddle officiating. Burial will follow at Stigler Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Bush, Greg Riddle, Roy Wayne Riddle, Brad Ross, Ricky Dale Nix, Joshua Nix, Derek Nix and Justin Jordan.
Viewing will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to  1 p.m.
Services were entrusted to Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
