Francies Clark

Francies Corene Clark, 92, of Prayer Mountain, passed away at her home Friday, Sept. 21, 2018. She was born Feb. 13, 1926, in Westville to Eldon and Ruby (Beasley) Clark.

Francies grew up in Purcell, where she was educated. She married Fount Clark in El Reno. They made their home in Oklahoma City and in 1976 they moved to Longtown. Then in 1984, they began building a prayer retreat. It was called God’s House of Prayer of Prayer Mountain. Francies was the pastor there for some 25 years. She was a member of Faith Community Church.

Francies was survived by her two daughters, Carolyn Heltzel and husband, Michael, of Prayer Mountain and Reba Culley of Eufaula; 11 grandchildren, Robby Allphin of Oklahoma City, Tonya Mulkey and husband, Preston, of Muskogee, Angel Morgan and husband, Brent, of Fort Gibson, Gayle Wash of Dallas, Texas, Terri Gregory and husband, Eddie, of Coweta, Kenny Clark and fiancée, Billie, of Yukon, Brett Clark and wife, Brandy, of Oklahoma City, Gina Brunkhorst and husband, Shawn, of Oklahoma City, Bryan Dornan of Muskogee, Rachel Raiford and husband, Randy, of Longtown and Cory Culley of Eufaula; 26 great-grandchildren, Seth, Kristin and Alec Allphin; Jordan and Tristen Proctor; Sarai and Brenlee Morgan; Landon Mulkey, Chad Amann, Donavan and Amelia Grace Brunkhorst; Branton Clark, Jessica Tinker, Cameron Dornan, Brianna Sullivan, Brittany Bayless, Bailee Hern, Brea Wash, Kevin Thomas, Brenna Gregory, Cody Spoor, Logan Clark, Anthony Valentine, Rhyatt Dunn, Raddec Dunn and Rocklyn Raiford and 18 great-great-grandchildren, Zak, Braelynn, Dakota, Zane, Annistyn, Aubrey, Penelope, Anakin, Penelope, Paige, Paul, Braylee, Bradley Jr., Kenny Jr., Christopher, Logan, Kylee, and Carson.

Francies was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Ruby Quate; her husband of 63 years, Fount Clark; three sons, Gene, Leland and Hurshel Clark; three brothers, Lloyd, Olen and Thurman Quate and three grandsons, Larry Clark, Shon Crick and C.J. Amann.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at Faith Community Church with the Rev. Carolyn Heltzel officiating. Pallbearers included Robby Allphin, Brett Clark, Bryan Dornan, Cory Culley, Alec Allphin, Kenny Clark, Kevin Thones and Tristin Proctor.

Burial followed in Brooken Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
