Fern Watson

Fern Watson of Stigler was born Nov. 16, 1933 in Sparta, Mo., to James Conrad and Clella (Roller) Patterson and passed away May 20, 2017 in Sallisaw at the age of 83.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Zachry and husband, Jerry, of Stigler,  Kelly Jones and husband, Gary, of Stigler, and Billye Beach and husband, Jeff, of Bixby;  two sons, Jim Watson and wife, Linda, of Stigler, and Chris Watson and wife, Tammy, of Stigler; one sister, Margie Hazelwood of Pine Bluff, Ark.; 11 grandchildren, Larry and Bryan Watson, Justin, Austin and James Oldham; Jyl Griffin, Keaton Lovell, Toni McClary, Sonya Beach, Michael Watson and Lauren Poague; 22 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Bob Alley of Stigler.
Fern was preceded in death by the father of her children, Bill Watson; three brothers, Bob, Ward, and Bill Patterson; and her parents.
The service was 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at Stigler Main Street Baptist Church with the Rev. John Pruett, the Rev. Mike Bush and the Rev. Jeff Berger officiating.
Burial will follow in Stigler City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
Pallbearers will be Larry Watson, Bryan Watson, Justin Oldham, Austin Oldham, James Oldham and Michael Watson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Bryce, Ricky Bryce, Dwayne Bryce and Patrick Chappel.
Viewing was scheduled for 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
