Ersie Coblentz

Ersie Lee (McAdoo) Coblentz was born in Eufaula, on April 17, 1926, to Everett and Hester (Taft) McAdoo. She departed this life at home in Quinton, on June 22, 2020, at the age of 94.

She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Miller and husband, Dyrl, of Quinton, Renee Gray and husband, Zane, of Quinton; she is also survived by two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Ersie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin Coblentz; four brothers; and three sisters.

Viewing was held at Mallory Chapel in Quinton from 1 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 25 at Quinton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Bengs and the Rev. David Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Quinton City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers will be Stuart Underwood, Beau Underwood, Seth Gray,  Michael McConnell, James Stockton and Gregory Stockton.

Honorary pallbearers will be FBC/Quinton Training Union Class, her good neighbor, Roy Stockton and her yard gardening partner for many years, Charles Thayer.
