Erma Bannon

Erma Dean (Hulsey) Bannon of Fort Smith, Ark. was born Aug. 20, 1922, in Stigler, to James and Elsie (Ervin) Ledbetter. She passed away on July 23, 2018, in Fort Smith, Ark. at the age of 95.

She is survived by one niece, Shirley Kish and husband, Richard, of Pocola; several great nieces and nephews

Erma was preceded in death by husbands, Gerald Hulsey and William Bannon; parents, J.E. and Elsie (Ervin) Ledbetter; sister, Juanita Catron; niece, Juanima Cummings; nephew, James Scoggins.

She was a member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church in Fort Smith.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with the Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Interment was at Garland Cemetery.

Services entrusted to Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler.
