Edith Yaws

Edith Maedell (Dudley) Yaws, 72, of Stigler, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016.
She was born Jan. 28, 1944, in Fresno, Calif., to John and Georgia (Wilson) Dudley.
She grew up in Laton and graduated from Laton High School.
Edith married Daniel (Danny) Yaws on Sept. 26, 1970.
Edith is survived by her husband, Daniel (Danny) Yaws; son, Daniel (Bo) and wife, Tracie of Keota; two daughters, Tessa Mize and husband, Jimmy of Coalinga, Calif., Brandy Yaws of Stigler; seven grandchildren, Nichole Mize, Matthew Yaws, Bridget Mize, Christian Yaws, Amy Yaws, Tommy Yaws, Ryder Yaws; three great-grandchildren, Aria Miller, Dion Fantroy and Asher Holder.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, John and Georgia Dudley; brothers, AJ and Ronald Dudley; sister Juanita Mock; and granddaughter, Chelsea Mize.
Funeral services were held Dec. 13 at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with the Rev. Ron Cole officiating.
Burial followed at Stigler City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
Pallbearers were Christian Yaws, Tommy Yaws, Tommy Dudley, Remington McGuire, Brandon Miller and Jesse Dudley.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Nixon and Jimmy Walker.
