Doris Russell

Doris A. Russell, 73, of Inola went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016.
Funeral services were held Oct. 27 at the Floral Haven Rose Chapel, Broken Arrow with burial to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
Doris was born on March 14, 1943, in Scranton, Ark., the daughter of Herman and Bertha (Stephens) Hammock. On July 22, 1960, she married Fred E. Russell in Long Beach, Calif. They enjoyed 56 wonderful years of marriage together.
She is survived by her husband; children, Pamela Kruse and her husband Paul of Las Vegas, Nev., Allen “Rusty” Russell and his wife Janet of Tulsa, and Tracey Russell of Tulsa; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Cordle of Broken Arrow, Archie Hammock and his wife Mary Beth of Claremore, Ricky Hammock and his wife Julie of Muskogee, Joe Hammock and his wife Lindia of Verdigris, and Karen Monks and her husband Bruce of Stigler; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Janie Hammock.
