Daxtyn Gabbart

Daxtyn Kai Gabbart of Quinton was born Dec. 21, 2017, in Oklahoma City to Lucas and Crystal Gabbart and passed away March 23, 2018, in McAlester at the age of three months.
He is survived by his parents, Lucas and Crystal Gabbart of Quinton; three brothers, Gage, Blayne and Kaiden Gabbart of the home; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Tami Gabbart of Quinton; paternal great-great-grandparents, “Grandma” Della Gabbart of Stigler and “Bullwhip” Doyle and “Grani” Betty Branham of Kinta; maternal grandparents, David and Nikki Nix of Wilburton, Terry and Angela Hollingsworth of Clayton; aunts and uncles, Buddy and Suni Dugan of Kinta, Jason and Amy Few of Stigler, Chassidy and Bobby Eubanks of Ada, Katie Hollingsworth of Clayton, Wesley and Jamie Nix of Buffalo Valley; cousins, Kolton and Hailey Dugan, Kameron and Taylor Dugan, Kacie Dugan and Caleb Hays, Kenzie, Jaxon and Aran Few, Nina, Natalie, Karsyn, Aiden and Maverick Dugan, Bobby Rhodes, Brantley, Lance, Kamberlynn Hays, Trot Nix, Jonathan Tackett.
Daxtyn was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, “Grandpa” Bob Gabbart and T.J. Strain; his paternal great-great-grandfather, “Poppa” Lecile Cantrell; his maternal great-grandmother, Alma Jo McKinney; his maternal great-grandfather, John E. Tackett.
Daxtyn was member of The Zipper Club, Mended Little Hearts of Oklahoma City, and he was Ambassador of Save Down Syndrome. He was the light of our world!
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March, 28, 2018, at the Quinton Event Center with the Rev. Josh Cate officiating. Burial will follow at Brooken Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
Pallbearers will be Mervin Wallis, Buddy Dugan, Jason Few, Daniel Eaton and Daniel Miller.
Viewing was Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. with family visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mallory Chapel in Stigler.
