Daniel ‘Danny’ Yaws

Daniel Charles Yaws (Danny), 71, of Eufaula went to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 2, 2021. He was born Dec. 19, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, to Louis Charles Yaws and Dora Baker.

Danny married Edith Dudley on Sept. 26, 1970.

Daniel is survived by one daughter, Tessa Mize and husband, Jimmy, of Coalinga, Calif.; one son, Daniel “Bo” Yaws II and wife, Tracie, of McCurtain, Okla.; 12 grandchildren, Nichole Mize and Bridget Mize, Amy and Matthew Yaws, Christian, Tommy, Anahi, Denise, Dania, Jessica, Ryder and Raylan Yaws; his great-grandchildren, Aria Miller, Dion Fantroy, Asher Holder, Jaxson Yaws, Thalia Yaws, Charlies Yaws, Blazyn Monroe, Harper Marie and Curtis Yaws; two brothers, Jay Yaws and wife, Joyce, and Johnnie Yaws and wife, Jean; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Yaws and Dora Baker; his wife, Edith Dudley Yaws; his daughter, Brandy Yaws; his sisters, Virginia Sheets, Merrill Beatrice Ritchie, Jeanette Clifton, Joyce Price and Erna Jean Gorham; and his granddaughter, Chelsea Mize.

A Service of Remembrance was held at the Mallory Chapel in Stigler at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, with Bro. Tommie Parker officiating. Interment followed at Stigler City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers were Matthew Yaws, Jimmy Walker, Myron Walker, Andrew Vance, Thomas Gould and Donald Grisham.
