Clifford ‘Dub’ Rose

Clifford Wesley “C.W.” “Dub” Rose, a lifelong resident of Keota and member of the church of Christ, passed away Jan. 26, 2017.  
Dub was born at home June 21, 1941, to Jacob A.”J.R.” and Lucy Hill Rose.
Dub graduated from Keota High School and attended college at Eastern and Northeastern.
He served in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Dub was a master carpenter and used his talents to build many homes, schools and other buildings in the area. He enjoyed spending time with his family, visiting friends and watching OU Sooner football.
Dub is survived by his wife of 54 years, June Rose of the home; three daughers, Misty Brigance and husband Mark of Poteau; Heather Slater and husband David of Poteau and Ginger Cooper and husband Todd of Shady Point; grandchildren, Daniel Brigance and wife Kristyn of Norman; Jessica Brigance; Aaron, Michael, Rebecca and Aubree Slater; Jenson, Jacob and Bindi Cooper; sisters, Linda Brassfield Ross of Keota, Wanda Kendrick of Owasso and Paul Rose of Oklahoma City.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.R. and Lucy Rose; and granddaughter, Kelsey Brigance.  Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
