Cleo McKee

Cleo Wanda (Dellinger) McKee was born in Russellville to E.D. Dellinger and Elva Irene (Smith) Dellinger on May 29, 1926. She passed away in Quinton on July 24, 2019, at the age of 93.

She is survived by her daughter, Hazel (“Jeani”) Shriver; her granddaughters, Pam Aronson and Nickie Montgomery; several great and great-great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Sugar.

Cleo grew up in Russellville and Quinton. On Nov. 29, 1940, she married Willis McKee.

They farmed and ranched in the Quinton area and raised a daughter and son. She obtained her GED as an adult and worked for several years as a school bus driver and in food service for Quinton Public Schools. Cleo liked to travel, garden and quilt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Barney and N.T.; her sister, Pauline; her husband, Willis; her son, Cecil and grandsons, Scott Shriver and Cecil McKee, Jr.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler. Burial will follow at Quinton Cemetery in Quinton under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler. She will be laid to rest beside Willis.

Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at Mallory Chapel in Quinton, with family visitation from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Brunson, Mickey Roberts, Gary McKee, Bill McKee, James Wagnon and Fred Russell.
