Calvin Ray Blevins, 62, of Stigler passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, in Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born in Stigler, Okla. May 29, 1959, to Albert and Frances (Russell) Blevins. Calvin grew up in Stigler and graduated in the class of 1977. He married the girl that stole his heart, Debbie Frentz on April 17, 1980. They made their home in Stigler where he worked for Stigler Public Schools as custodian and bus driver. He worked for KI BOIS since 1987 until 2020. He loved his dogs and birds, loved his kids and watching them play sports, he loved the OU Sooners.

Calvin is survived by his mother, Frances Blevins of Stigler; the love of his life of 41 years, his wife, Debbie Blevins, of the home;  his three daughters and three sons-in-law, April and Bobby Bond of McCurtain, Kristin and Nick Johnson of Coweta and Shelby and Kyle James of Cameron; a son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Jesse Blevins of Wister; 16 grandchildren, Kayla, Jeremiah and Shana, Gavin, Samantha, Lincoln, Katelynn, Dakota, Nathan, Khloe, Kenzie, Waylon, Carleigh, Alexis, Ava, Emma, Kaleb; three great-grandchildren, Deianira, AJ, Kelsie; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Duane and Denise Blevins of Fort Gibson and Randall Blevins of Stigler.

Calvin was preceded in death by his dad, Albert Blevins and a grandson, Logan Blevins.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the Stigler First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Sherman Dix officiating. Pallbearers included Duane Blevins, Randall Blevins, Kyle James, Bobby Bond, Nick Johnson and Kyle Blevins. Honorary pallbearers included Dakota Blevins, Nathan Johnson, Waylon James, Gavin Bond, Kaleb Johnson, David Burgess and Lincoln Bond.

Burial followed in Stigler Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
