Billie June Chrestman

Billie June Chrestman of Quinton was born March 30, 1929, in Quinton to Roy and Bertha Mason Eakle and passed away Oct. 5, 2018, in Oologah at the age of 89.

Billie retired after many years as a budget analyst for the FAA. She lived in Scottsdale, Ariz. for more than 40 years. She was a Christian, loved to travel abroad and worked to keep her mind active by volunteering as treasurer for the condo community she lived in.

Billie is survived by granddaughter, Carla Stegall and husband, Russell, of Oologah; great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Stegall and Chelby Stegall of Oologah; brother, Dale Eakle of Quinton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Bertha Eakle; husband, Edwin Kocinski; one daughter, Jan Wimberly; one brother, Don Eakle and one sister, Jan Gilgert.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at West Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Delmon Eakle officiating. 

Burial will follow in West Liberty Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory in Stigler.

Pallbearers will be Russell Stegall, Jack Chrestman, Kevin Eakle, Owen McKee, Chase Bohbrink and Aidan Glynn.
