Betty Jo Green

Betty Jo Green, of Keota, was born Aug. 19, 1942, in McCurtain, to Grady and Artie (Mayhall) Weece. She passed away July 19, 2017, in Muskogee, at the age of 74.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Morgan and husband, Don, of Eufaula, Donna Blankenship of Keota, and Kathy Cox and husband, Nathan, of Keota; one son, Ernest Green and girlfriend, Debbie Medicinebird, of Stigler;  her mother, Artie Weece of Keota; two sisters, Shirley Laymon and husband, Tom, of Bokoshe and Martha Gabbard and husband, Jacky, of Keota; three brothers, Buddy Weece of Oklahoma City, David Wayne Weece of Keota and Warren Weece of Keota; nine grandchildren, Robert Michael Morgan, Donnie Morgan, Ernest Eugene Green, Charlie Green, Chuck Blankenship, Bobby Blankenship, Austin Blankenship, Whitney Green and Latisha Cox; and 11 great-grandchildren, Kya Morgan, Zoey Morgan, Ciera Sue Morgan, Chandler Blankenship, Kynli Blankenship, Kenedi Blankenship, Brynlen Blankenship, Bryson Blankenship, Haley Green, J.J. Green and Gunner Killingsworth.
Betty is preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Weece and her father, Grady Weece.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Victory Worship Center in Keota with Bro. Tommie Parker officiating.
Burial followed in Iron Bridge Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
Pallbearers were Donnie Morgan, Ernest Eugene Green, Austin Blankenship, Joe Maxwell, Charlie Green and Chuck Blankenship
Viewing was at Mallory Chapel in Keota on Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
