Betty Doby

Betty Lou Doby of Whitefield passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, in Fort Smith, Ark., at the age of 75.  
She was born March 2, 1941, in Hoyt to William Leslie Parker and Ruby Marie (Simmons) Parker.
She is survived by four sons, Ronn Doby and husband Todd of Sand Springs, Terry Doby and wife Carolyn of Kinta, Mikel Doby and wife Penny of Muse, Allan Doby and wife Lisa of Kinta; one sister, Helen McClain and husband Jerry of Savanna; three brothers, James Parker and wife Joyce of Whitefield, Leon Parker of Stigler, Don Parker and wife Patty of Sandridge; 11 grandchildren, Jensen Doby, Jarin Doby, Aaron Doby, Lane Doby, Brandt Doby, Nicholas Doby, KateLynn Doby, Garrett “Tator” Doby, Steve Hamby, Caleb Hamby and David Hamby; 16 great-grandchildren, Drake, Mia, Averie, Braxden, Brody, Grace, Deke, Oaklyn, Isiah, Everett, Hunter, Boyd, Jacob, Ava, Ryan and Riley; family friend, Tom Wren of Whitefield.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William Doby; and her parents.
Services were held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2 at Mallory Chapel, Stigler, with Bro. Tommie Parker officiating.
Burial followed at Sans Bois Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
Pallbearers were Jensen Doby, Jarin Doby, Aaron Doby, Brandt Doby, Nicholas Doby and Garrett “Tator” Doby.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary Parker, Bobby Parker, Bryan Parker, Randy Parker, Greg Parker, Jeremy McClain, Andy Hubbard, Ken Kasiner, Ross Wilson and Keith Bowen.
