Bertie Ellen Hooten

Bertie Ellen Hooten, of Briartown, passed away July 6, 2017 in Sparks, Nev. at the age of 80. She was born Dec. 19, 1936 in Briartown to Arvie and Edith (Raimer) Farrar.
Bertie is survived by one son, Bobby Welch and wife Karen of Brussels, Belgium; two daughters, Lisa Yoshioka and husband William, of Sparks, Nev. and Christina Hooten of Briartown; four sisters, Donna, Carol, Sharon and Juanita; two brothers (deceased) Jerry and Jay; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 19, 2017 at Porum Assembly of God church in Porum. Burial will be at Triplett Cemetery in McIntosh County.
