Bernice Bisby

Bernice Inez (Kinsey) Bisby was born in Kanima on Jan. 4, 1920 to Rutherford Hayes and Daisy (Martin) Kinsey. She passed away in Stigler on Jan. 20, 2020 at the age of 100.

She is survived by her son, James Bisby and wife, Frances, of Weatherford, Texas; her granddaughters, Teresa Sweatman and spouse, Tony, of Weatherford, Texas, Wynona Kay Rangel of Dallas and Amy Denise Bisby of Weatherford, Texas; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Bisby; her parents, Rutherford and Daisy Kinsey; her sisters, Idell Dock, Lydia Finch, Thelma Perry and Betty Campbell; and her brothers, Lonnie Kinsey, Grady Kinsey, Elzie Kinsey, Raymond Kinsey and Jim Kinsey.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020 at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with Zack Kinsey officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers will be  Billy Rush, Bobby Rush, Randy Kinsey, Larry Kinsey, Leo Perry and Roger Kinsey.

Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Kinsey.
