Ben Duke

Ben L. Duke of Stigler was born Sept. 4, 1944, in Porum to Henry and Estelle (Moore) Duke. He passed away on March 12, 2018, in Stigler at the age of 73.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of the home; two daughters, Callie Sloan and husband, Tylor, of Stigler, Estella Duke of Edmond; brothers, Johnnie Duke of Warner, Wayne Duke of Broken Arrow, Roscoe Duke of Warner; sisters, Fern Jones of Whitefield, Glenda Sue Doke of Truman, Ark., Debbie Shooly of Warner; grandchildren, Emeri Duke of Stigler, Kynli Sloan of Stigler, Treyston Sloan of Stigler; two aunts, Ruby Duke of Muskogee, Reba Kirk of Muskogee; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Estelle Duke; grandson, Aiden Duke; numerous aunts and uncles and nephew, Scotty Webster.
He was a Navy retiree. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and talking on his ham radio.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Brewer, Samuel Brewer, Michael Morales, Matthew Morales, Tylor Sloan and Joseph Morales.
Viewing will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with Pastor Tim Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery in Porum, Oklahoma. Military honors will be provided by Stigler VFW Post #4446.
Services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
