Amy Murphy

Amy Charlene (Watts) Murphy was born in Palacios, Texas on March 29, 1951, to Alvin and Amy Juanita (Roberts) Watts. She passed away on July 26, 2021, in McAlester, Oklahoma at the age of 70.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; her sons, Michael Ford and wife, Cynthia, of McAlester, Okla., Jerry Murphy, Jr. and wife, Jayline, of Tyler, Texas, Phillip Murphy, Sr. and wife, Jeanette, of Moscow, Texas and Avery Basham of Lufkin, Texas; her daughters, Jennifer Faber of Quinton, Okla. and Amy Olsen and husband, Earl, of Lufkin, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; her sister, Linda Ballard and husband, David, of Ada, Okla.; her brothers, La Van Watts of Lufkin, Texas, Odie Watts and wife, Cindy, of Arkansas, Bobby Watts and wife, Phyllis, of Missouri and Larry Watts and wife, JoAnn, of Collierville, Tenn.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Amy Watts.
