Adon Few

Mr. Adon Few, 83, of Stigler passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at Haskell County Hospital in Stigler. He was born Sept. 13, 1934, in Brooken to Leslie and Lovina (Shaw) Few.
Adon grew up in East Liberty. where he received his education. He married Carol Timbers in Wichita, Kan., on June 5, 1954, and they made their home in Wichita, where he worked for Cessna. In 1968, they moved to Stigler and Adon began working as a mechanic for Dunn Ford until his retirement in 1996.
After retirement, his hobbies were gardening, woodworking and building musical instruments, which he made every piece on them. He was very talented. He adored his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he loved going to church. He was a member of the West Liberty Baptist Church.
Adon is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carol Few of the home; three daughters, Janet Pearce and husband, Randall, of Savanna, Shelly Davis and husband, Ron, of Stigler, Dana Munger and husband, Curt, of Harrah; two sons, Donnie Few and wife, Sandra, of Quinton, Dale Few and wife, MaKayla, of Spiro; 10 grandchildren, Rodney, Rustin and wife, Rachelle, Cody and wife, Stacy, Melanie and husband, Jared, Megan, Morgan, Garrett, Amy, Molly and Zachary; five great-grandchildren, Hailey, Patience, Raegen, Patton and Ramsey; two sisters, Bonnie Sanders and husband, Jim, of Stigler, Kaye Barlow of Stigler; two brothers, Coy Few of East Liberty and Bob Few of Sandridge.
Adon is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Lovina Few; a sister, Ruby Catherine Few; two brothers, Leaman Few and Ervin Few; a great-grandson, Hunter Pearce.
