Mike Miller

Mike Miller, 66, of McCurtain, passed away March 3, 2019, at his home. He was born July 10, 1952, in Souix City, Iowa to Donivan Joseph and Carol Estelle (Haines) Miller.

He grew up in Omaha, where he was educated at Central High School. He served his country in the  Air Force for 22 years. He married Kay Reading June 10, 1982, and they made their home in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. In 1984, they moved to Choctaw and he worked at Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement in 1992. They moved to Lequire and he began working at Total Express in the mid 1990s for 17 years until retirement. Mike loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, sports and antique cars, car racing and raising cattle. He adored his family, he was known for his laugh and sense of humor. He was a member of Lequire Baptist Church.

Mike is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kay Miller of the home; his son, Chad Miller of Tulsa; his two daughters, Gina Clark and husband, Michael, of Lequire and Kim Miller and husband, Jeremy Grimes, of Omaha; three grandchildren, Zoe Cragun, Amelia Cragun and Riley Grimes; two sisters, Jan Davis and husband, Randy, of Omaha and Susie Miller of Souix City, Iowa and a brother, John Hageman of Omaha.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Carol Miller; a sister, Cherie Herera and stepfather, Arthur Hageman.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019, in the R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
